Experienced Source Testing (Stack Testing) Engineer/Project Manager
Position description:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, conducting air source compliance emissions testing (stack testing) and CEMS Relative Accuracy Test Audits (RATAs) at various industrial facilities located throughout the United States in accordance with applicable state and federal test methods. This position also involves preparing for tests, managing personnel in the field, developing preliminary and final reports, and researching test methods. QSTI Certification is required or must be obtained shortly after employment.
Qualified applicants shall posses the following:
- Minimum B.S. in Chemistry or other environmental degree and 5 years experience preferred
- Ability to conduct air emissions testing at various industrial facilities in accordance with EPA test methods
- Compile test data into formal test reports
- Working knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations, specifically Parts 60 and 75
- Working knowledge of gas sampling systems (instrumental analyzer methods)
- Willingness to travel with overnight stays (typically 3 to 4 days per trip)
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights above 150 feet
- Ability to lift 60 lbs
- Valid drivers license
- Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to wear a full face respirator
- Quick learning skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Be self motivated
- Enjoy challenges in an ever changing work environment
- Good customer relationship skills

CEMS Technician (experienced)
Position description:

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CEM systems in the field locally as well as throughout the United States.
- Conduct field start-ups of CEM systems
- In-house equipment repairs/testing of CEM equipment
- Write/conduct CEMS training courses
- Participation in on-call rotation
Qualifications:
- Minimum A.S. in electronics technology or other technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience in CEMS industry
- Thorough knowledge of multiple sampling methodologies
- Thorough knowledge of various stack gas monitors, probes, and gas sample conditioning systems
- Experience troubleshooting opacity monitoring systems and ultrasonic volumetric flow monitors
- Solid troubleshooting skills including 4-20 ma signal loops and DC circuits
- Thorough knowledge of 40CFR Part 60 and 75
- Willingness to travel with overnight stays
- Read/interpret electrical, signal, and flow diagrams
- General knowledge of industrial electronics
- Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills
